What it is

Two pathways, one powerful result.

Tirzepatide is a next-generation peptide that activates both GIP and GLP-1 receptors. This dual mechanism enhances insulin secretion, suppresses appetite more effectively than single-pathway medications, and promotes substantial fat loss while supporting metabolic health.

Our medical team at Body Tonic RX designs every tirzepatide protocol around your lab data, body composition, and lifestyle. We do not use cookie-cutter dosing. Your plan is titrated progressively and adjusted monthly based on real biomarkers and measurable progress.

FAQ

Common questions.

How is tirzepatide different from semaglutide?

Tirzepatide targets both GIP and GLP-1 receptors, whereas semaglutide targets GLP-1 only. This dual action often produces more pronounced appetite suppression and metabolic improvement, which is why many patients see faster results.

How fast will I lose weight on tirzepatide?

Appetite reduction is typically noticeable within days. Most patients see measurable body composition changes within 4–8 weeks, with continued progress over 3–6 months as dosing is optimized.

Is tirzepatide safe?

Branded tirzepatide (Mounjaro®, Zepbound®) is FDA-approved for type 2 diabetes and chronic weight management under medical supervision. The medication dispensed through our program is a compounded preparation that is not FDA-approved as a finished drug product and is not the same as the branded medication. At Body Tonic RX, every patient is medically screened, monitored monthly, and supported by licensed clinicians who tailor dosing to your response and tolerance.

Can I do this program via telehealth?

Yes. After your initial consultation, many patients manage their protocol through telehealth with home injections and virtual follow-ups. In-clinic visits are also available at our Westlake and Bee Cave locations.
