Licensed medical providers

All medical services are provided by qualified healthcare professionals. Each provider holds active licenses in the states where they practice, operates within their legal scope of practice, and is trained in hormone optimization, metabolic health, and longevity medicine.

Prescribing standards

  • A valid patient-provider relationship is established prior to any prescription, in accordance with state telemedicine laws.
  • Prescribing decisions are made solely by independently licensed clinicians based on medical necessity.
  • We do not prescribe controlled substances (DEA Schedules II–V) through our telehealth platform.
  • We do not allow patients to choose their medications; therapy selection is at the clinician's discretion.
  • Identity and age are verified during intake; we treat patients aged 18 and older only.
  • Clinicians may order labs or require in-person follow-up where clinically indicated.

Pharmacy partners

Medications are dispensed by independently licensed U.S. pharmacies, including 503A compounding pharmacies and 503B outsourcing facilities registered with the FDA. Body Tonic RX does not own, operate, or take possession of dispensed medication inventory. Current pharmacy partners include:

  • Strive Pharmacy — licensed U.S. compounding pharmacy
  • Empower Pharmacy — licensed U.S. compounding pharmacy / 503B outsourcing facility
  • Optimal Balance Pharmacy — licensed U.S. compounding pharmacy

Selection of a dispensing pharmacy is made by the prescribing clinician based on formulation, patient need, and state of residence. Verification of any pharmacy license is available on request to compliance@mybodytonic.com.

Adverse-event reporting

Patients should report any suspected adverse reaction to their care team immediately via the patient portal or to safety@mybodytonic.com. Serious adverse events are reported to the FDA MedWatch program and applicable state authorities.

State licensure & telehealth coverage

Body Tonic RX delivers telehealth care through independently licensed U.S. clinicians. Care is provided only by a clinician who holds an active license in the patient's state of residence. Eligibility, the assigned clinical pathway, and the responsible prescribing clinician are confirmed during intake based on the patient's state of residence. Service availability varies by state and may change over time. We do not provide telehealth services to patients located outside the United States.

Conditions treated

  • Hormone replacement therapy (testosterone, estrogen, progesterone, thyroid optimization)
  • Peptide therapy (recovery, sleep, immune, dermatologic indications) — non-controlled
  • Medical weight loss (GLP-1 receptor agonists, metabolic management)

Conditions not treated via telehealth

  • Acute or emergency medical conditions
  • Mental-health crises or substance-use disorders
  • Pediatric care (under 18)
  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding-specific care
  • Any condition requiring controlled substances

Complaints & grievances

Patients may submit complaints to compliance@mybodytonic.com or by mail to the address above. Complaints are acknowledged within 5 business days and resolved within 30 days. Patients may also contact their state medical board or the LegitScript Healthcare Merchant Certification program.

Anti-fraud, waste & abuse

Body Tonic RX prohibits the diversion, resale, or sharing of prescribed medications. Patients found in violation will have their accounts closed and may be reported to relevant authorities.
