Collagen is a natural substance made within the skin that helps to hold up and retain skin shape. As you age, your skin’s natural collagen levels diminish, leading to drooping and sagging of the skin. What should I expect from my Sculptra Braziliant Butt Lift treatment?
Sculptra® provides immediate and long-lasting results for up to two to three years. Since Sculptra® works to promote collagen production within the skin, the skin is able to thicken and improve volume over time. The results for a Sculptra Brazilian but lift will get better over the following weeks after the procedure as the body absorbs the filler and boosts collagen levels. WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE PROCEDURE?
Your blood will be drawn and spun down in a centrifuge to separate the red blood cells from the valuable platelet-rich plasma (PRP). PRP is then injected into the scalp near the areas with hair loss. We use a Zimmer chiller to help numb the scalp before you are injected which makes the treatment more comfortable. Your injector will massage the scalp to help disburse the PRP. There is no downtime and no one will be able to see that you've had a treatment. Patients who benefit the most from PRP therapy undergo a series of treatments at regular intervals to maintain the positive effects of the plasma growth factors.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE NEEDED?
The initial treatment is three sessions, one month apart. Then approximately two maintenance sessions per year are needed to maintain your results. Many of the before and afters on this page show patients who have already entered their maintenance phase.
